Tour of London
In 2010, the Pinewood Choirs, under the direction of Spencer Williams, were invited to join the London International Choral Festival which leads into a larger celebration of music on New Year's Day. Several choirs from around the world are invited to perform both secular and sacred music in many beautiful venues around the city, including St. Augustine Church, and world-famous Cadogan Hall, home of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Needless to say, the choirs also performed some impromptu sets as they trounced about this beautiful city taking in the splendor of Westminster Abby, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Tower of London, The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Picadilly Circus. Why not take in a West End show? How about Billy Elliott, Wicked, or Love Never Dies? You choose. The students also had the opportunity to travel outside of London to see WIndsor Castle, and Canterbury.
