Choir Tour to Paris/Bruges
Our March 2015 Choir Tour kicked off in the charming historical city of Bruges in Belgium, where we rode bikes through the cobbled streets and explored the canals and cathedrals, singing in the Saint Salvator Cathedral. On our way to Paris, we took some time to tour the beautiful cities of Ghent and Brussels. In Paris, we took in all the major sights, including the Tour d’Eiffel, the Sacre Coeur, the Louvre and Musee D’Orsay, Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, the Champs Elysees, Giverny and the home of Claude Monet, and the grand Palais Versailles. We had a wonderful time singing formally in the Basilique Saint Clotilde and St. Sulpice, and took whatever opportunities we could find to sing informally all around the streets (and River!) of Paris. It was a fun, educational, and jam-packed trip, full of many adventures and memorable experiences.
